 Model: HT-R330

 Subject: Disassembly Troubleshooting tip

Symptom: How can you access the Main board to troubleshoot the set?

Solution: Remove the top cover from the unit. Using needlenose pliers unclip the three
plastic clips securing the Main board and Power supply boards to the bottom chassis.
Next, remove the two screws securing the bottom Chassis plate to the Front panel.

Remove the screws (location shown here) that secure the boards to the bottom Chassis
plate. See the attached picture.

Note: Do not remove the Front panel or the Back panel, they are needed to stand the unit
on its side while troubleshooting.

After the mounting screws have been removed, carefully place the set on its side with the
Power Transformer down toward your work surface. Double check the bottom panel to
verify all of the screws have been removed. Remove the bottom chassis plate to expose
the PC boards. You can now easily remove the bottom plate by pivoting the panel out
from the rear panel and away from the boards. Once the panel has cleared the boards you
can place it on the side until the set is ready for re-assembly.
