How to download the Sub MICOM of Everest 2


     1. Download using a Memory card
     2. Download using the Serial RS-232C (Null Modem Cable)
                                  RS-
     3. Download using the JIG Method (Parallel to D-sub)

1. Download using the Memory card
 Only possible with models having the Memory Card reader option




        1.   Download is only possible in expert mode.

Memory Card Download ( Experts mode (1) )

 Expert mode displays all download file in memory card. This is different from User mode
 Expert Mode entry, is detailed below.




                                                                                           7 times!




             Highlight the `Option' in main Menu
             Press the `Mark' key on Remote Controller 7
             times..
             Then Download mode page will be
             displayed.(next page )
Memory Card Download ( Experts mode (2) )
 Select the Download program.
 1)    Select the Download file using UP/DOWN key.
 2)    Start download using the `Enter' key.




                                                                                              Program Version




 1)    Select the Download file using UP/DOWN key. (ex> EVEREST2_MICOM_V3_05_060322.epk)
 2)    Start download using the `Enter' key.
  If the Download completes successfully, Check the Version using the Adjust Remote Controller.
Memory Card Download ( Experts mode (3) )

 This is a picture of the download in progress.
 (Before upgrade notification picture is displayed, Full Black screen is displayed momentarily. This is normal.



 TV Software Upgrade
 The software upgrade is now in progress
 Until the whole process is completed. please
 -Do not remove the memory card from the slot
 -Do not plug off.

 Reading the file.....Done
 Main Software: Upgrading.....6 percent




 1)    Do not remove the memory card from the slot,
 2)    Do not plug off. Do not remove the AC power source
Memory Card Download ( Experts mode (4) )

 Lower picture is that Download has been successfully completed.



  TV Software Upgrade
  The software upgrade is now in progress
  Until the whole process is completed. please
  -Do not remove the memory card from the slot
  -Do not plug off.

  Reading the file.....Done
  Upgrading.....Done
  The software upgrade has been successfully completed.
  Press ENTER to restart the TV now.
  The TV will restart automatically in 11 seconds


 1)    Press `ENTER' key to restart the TV now.
 2)    The TV will restart automatically in remarked seconds.
                                                                                         -    -
  If you succeed the Download, Check the Version using the Adjust Remote Controller, please.

1. Serial Download is possible in both Boot mode and Application mode.

2. Serial Download is avaliable *.hex and *.epk file.
