Stap 1: installeren nieuwe Philips software
Zet de ontvanger aan en zap naar BVN (nr.14)
Druk nu op de 'stand-by' toets van de ontvanger (NIET OP DE AFSTANDSBEDIENING) en hou deze gedurende 5 seconden ingedrukt. 
Na het loslaten van de stand-by toets gaat het beeld op zwart en begint de LED (rood lampje) in de display te knipperen. De ontvanger is dan bezig met het inladen van de software. Dit duurt 1 tot 2 minuten. LET OP: de ontvanger mag niet uitgezet worden!
Zodra het inladen van de nieuwe software is afgerond, gaat de ontvanger weer aan en schakelt naar BVN.
Druk nu op 'MENU', kies optie 7 'Technische informatie' en vervolgens 2 'Signaalsterkte' en controleer of de software versie geupgrade is naar 52. Indien dit nog niet het geval is, dan is de update niet gelukt en dient u het opnieuw te proberen.
