SYMPTOM PDP repeats on and off in the state that a rear fan is not connected.
CAUSE In Main Power Assy (ARW1077), noises enter into the Power ON/OFF signal coming
from Microcomputer, and it causes malfunction.
SERVICE Remove the cathodic side of D3802, and add another diode (HSS104-02) to D3802 in
series
REMEDY in Main Power Assy (AWR1077).

during 30 minutes, falls into disorder in a moment.
CAUSE 1 Noise is easy to obstruct the wave at the beginning due to the heavy load on the

SYMPTOM 1 Screen distorts due to out of synchronization when changing input video from NTSC
images ( 15.7kHz ) to progressive images ( 31.5kHz ).
CAUSE 1 Input signal frequency cannot be discriminated on PTV.

SYMPTOM * A picture turns yellow / A cell defect appears at a part of a panel after 20,000 hours used.
CAUSE * A radiative characteristic of a cell is reduced by Long Term Panel Drive.
This happens only on a panel of the first generation.
SERVICE * Adjust Vofs from 140V to 150V.
REMEDY * Adjust the voltage of VR3601 between TP3601 and TP3602 in Main Power Assy;
AWR1077.

SYMPTOM 1 The peripheral of PDP is affected by PDP(ex. the sound of radio becomes noisy, the slant
striped noise appears on the picture of TV etc.).
2 The sub field noise (sland striped noise) appears on the picture of PDP.
CAUSE 1.2 Increase of radiation.
It may occurs the above symptom if the shield gusket is not right place when removing rear
panel.
SERVICE 1.2 Before set the rear panel, check the position of shield guscket.
