Subject: Convergence, Hor. Stat Inoperable                                    Date: August 22, 1995


Symptom:
 (133)            After replacing the CRT the unit can not be converged.

Solution:         In order to converge this new CRT you will need to replace :

                  a.   The Ring Magnets on the Yoke with the newer ones, or
                       replace the Yoke with the newer type Yoke.

                  b.   Set the Hor. Stat control on the "C" board completely
                       counterclockwise.

                  This new CRT does not require the Hor. Stat control for doing convergence.
                  Use the ring magnets on the yoke to adjust for convergence.

 NOTE:            Please consult the Service Manual for the KV-27V10, Section 3.2
                  Convergence, on how to converge the unit using the magnets.
