Subject: Changes in power off procedure and feeding                                 Date: January 28, 2000
         of SECAM signal


Symptom:
 (171X)                When the OSD CPU IC5208 on the "C" Board (component side, zone B-9) is replaced
                       with version 1.10 and higher, the control panel power-off procedure will change.

                       Serial numbers starting with 2,000,911 and higher already contain this change.



Solution:              The changes to the power-off procedure and feeding of SECAM signal
                       changes as follows:


                       1. To power of, press the power key and hold for more than one second.

                       2. After power off, the Power indicator blinks quickly, then blinks slowly for
                            the next 10 minutes.
