Subject: Appearance Of Bright Lines In Picture Date: February 14, 2000
Symptom:
(1322) After several hundred hours of LED panel use, bright vertical or horizontal lines may
appear in the picture.
Solution: If this symptom should appear please perform the following circuit change.
1. Replace prism block, which is a component in the optical unit. (1-473-848-21).
Note: Refer to VPL-W400Q Service Manual, section 3 and 4 for the following adjustments.
2. Adjust the Polarizer plate.
3. Enter the Service mode.
4. Adjust V-COM.
5. Adjust the white balance.
