Symptom:
 (133X)                Grainy/Noisy picture with DSS, DVD inputs, (MPEG sources) on Video 1-4 inputs.



Cause:                 MPEG input source has noise/artifacts on input signal due to high compression rates
                       used.

Solution:              Please change the following Service Data in each input and picture mode as listed
                       Instruct the customer to view in "Pro" picture mode for the worst signal sources.

                       1. Receive RF signal.

                       2. Set picture mode to Vivid
                          2-1. Change MID 5 (8)      MHYO 1>0
                          2-2. Change MID5 (14) MVYL 1>0
                          2-3. Write the data (Mute Enter).

                    3-2. Change MID5 (14) MVYL 1>0.
                    3-3. Change 2150P-3 (16) UBOF 15>7.
                    3-4. Write the data (Mute Enter).

                 4. Change picture mode to Pro.
                    4-1 Change MID5 (5) MHYR 0>1.
                    4-2 Write the data (Mute Enter).

                 5. Go to Video 1 (input signal not required).

                 6. Set picture mode to Vivid.
                    6-1. Repeat 2-1 to 2-3.

                 7. Set picture mode to Standard.
                    7-1 Repeat 3-1 to 3-4.

                 8. Set picture mode to Pro.
                    8-1 Repeat 4-1 to 4-2.
