Symptom / Green or magenta shading appears on the picture.

Cause:
Remedy / Step 1: Upgrade the PEAKS software (please see page 2 for details)
Method: Step 2: Upgrade the Panel PDP DCC & PDP PDROM software (please see page 2 for details)
Applies to: 2011 Models prior to Serial No: **-146****

Preparation:
1. Obtain 2 SD Cards, one for use in step 1, one for use in step 2.
The card capacity must be between 128MB and 2GB and they should be standard speed.
2. Obtain a copy of the two different firmware versions - the PEAKS software (for Step 1),
and the Panel software (for Step 2) - from your usual service source.
3. Copy the compressed PEAKS software file to a computer and unzip the file.
4. Copy the SDDL file onto the root directory of SD Card 1 (for Step 1).
5. Copy the compressed Panel software file to a computer and unzip the file.
6. Copy the SDDL file onto the root directory of SD Card 2 (for Step 2).

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Step 1: Upgrade the PEAKS software
1. Turn on the TV set.
2. Insert the SD card 1, with the file prepared in step 4, above into the SD Card slot.
3. Using the Cursor buttons on the remote control, select YES, then press the OK button to start the software
upgrade - The progress bar will appear.
- Wait until the progress bar has reached 100%, and the message "Please turn off the TV set" is displayed
on the screen (about 5 minutes)
4. When the message appears, remove SD Card 1 from the SD Card slot.
5. Using the power switch, turn the TV set off then on again.
- The message "System initializing" will be displayed on the screen
- Wait whilst the TV set reboots (about 3 minutes) and the "default screen" is displayed.
Step 2: Upgrade the Panel software
Caution: Do NOT remove SD Card 2 or try to operate the set while the upgrade below is taking place.
Failure to observe this instruction will result in the set not powering back on.
1. Turn on the TV set.
2. Insert the SD card 2, with the file prepared in step 6 above, into the SD Card slot.
3. Using the Cursor buttons on the remote control, select YES, then press the OK button to start the software
upgrade
- The panel will power down, and the red LED will start to flash.
- Do NOT remove SD Card 2 while the LED is flashing
4. Wait until the red LED stops flashing and is continually lit.
5. Turn off the TV set.
6. Remove SD Card 2 from the SD Card slot.
7. Turn the TV set back on, and the "default screen" is displayed.
8. Confirm the PEAKS, PDP DCC & PDP PDROM software versions have upgraded correctly.
