HomeMost service manuals and schematics are PDF files, so You will need Adobre Acrobat Reader to view : Acrobat Download
Some of the files are DjVu format. Readers and resources available here : DjVu Resources
For the compressed files, most common are zip and rar. Please, extract files with Your favorite compression software ( WinZip, WinRAR ... ) before viewing.
If a document has multiple parts, You should download all, before extracting.

HARNESSCONNECTOR
Description
HARNESS CONNECTOR
0 All harness connectors are designed so that they do not become loose or disconnected accidentally.
0 The connector can be disconnected by pushing or lifting the locking section.
CAUTION:
Do not pull the harness when disconnecting the connector.

Fuse Fusible Link
A melted fusible link can be detected either b y
visual inspection or by feeling with finger tip. If i t s
condition is questionable, use circuit tester or test
lamp.
Check
SEL276
a. If fuse is blown, be sure to eliminate cause of
problem before installing new fuse.
b. Use fuse of specified rating. Never use fuse of
more than specified rating.
c. Do not install fuse in oblique direction; always CAUTION:

fully check and eliminate cause of problem.
b. Never wrap periphery of fusible link with vinyl
tape. Extreme care should be taken with this
link to ensure that it does not come into con-
tact with any other wiring harness or vinyl or
rubber parts.

BATTERY
CAUTION:
a. If it becomes necessary to start the engine with a booster battery and jumper cables, use a
12-volt booster battery.
b. After connecting battery cables, ensure that they are tightly clamped to battery terminals for good
contact.
c. Never add distilled water through the hole used to check specific gravity.

METHODS OF PREVENTING OVER- Check the charge condition of the battery.
DISCHARGE ~ Hydrometer
The following precautions must be taken to pre-
vent over-discharging a battery.
The battery surface (particularly its top)
should always be kept clean and dry.
Keep clean and dry
Periodically check the specific gravity of the
electrolyte. Keep a close check on charge
condition to prevent over-discharge.

Compared with a battery discharged under normal
conditions, the current flow in a "sulphated" bat-
