REMOVAL
1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE
(a) Insert a screwdriver between the front door scuff plate
and body to pry it out.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
(b) Use the same manner described above to the other side.

2. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISHES
(a) Insert a screwdriver between the front pillar garnish and
body to pry it out.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
(b) Use the same manner described above to the other side.

3. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD
(a) Remove the clip.
(b) Insert a screwdriver between the cowl side trim board and
body to pry it out.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
(c) Use the same manner described above to the other side.
4. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL PAD

6. REMOVE COLUMN UPPER AND LOWER COVER

10. REMOVE PANEL
Remove the clip and panel.
11. REMOVE NO. 1 SPEAKER PANEL AND NO. 2 SPEAK-

ER PANEL
(a) Remove the No. 2 speaker panel as shown in the illustra-
1 tion.
(b) Use the same manner described above to the No. 1
speaker panel.

12. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR
(a) Open the glove compartment door.
3 (b) Push both sides in and pull off the glove compartment
door.

13. REMOVE UPPER CLUSTER FINISH PANEL
3 Clips
(a) Using a screwdriver, remove the upper cluster finish panel
as shown in the illustration.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
(b) Disconnect the connector.

14. REMOVE METER
(a) Remove the 2 screws.
(b) Disconnect the connectors, then remove the meter.

15. REMOVE CLUSTER FINISH PANEL
6 Clips
(a) Remove the 2 knobs.
(b) Remove the 2 screws.
(c) Using a screwdriver, remove the cluster finish panel.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
(d) Disconnect the connectors.
(e) w/ Multi display:
H11060 Remove the 2 screws and multi display.
(f) w/o Multi display:
Remove the 2 screws stereo opening cover.

16. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL
(a) Remove the bolt holding to the front passenger airbag as-
sembly to the body.
