   1) Soften the rubber cap by gently heating it up. Use a heat gun for only 1 or 2 seconds.
      Use caution, overheating it will cause the rubber to melt, and will ruin the cap.




   2) Quickly insert the cap by working it onto the slider shaft before it cools.
