This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate RF
(radio frequency) energy, and if not Installed and used
in accordance with the information provided by ARIX,
may cause Interference to radio communications. It
has been tested and found to comply with the limits for
Class A computing devices pursuant to Subpart J of
Part 15 of FCC rules, which are designed to provide
reasonable protection against such Interference when
operated in a commercial environment. Operation of
this equipment In a residential are. Is likely to cause
interference, in which case the U8er, at his own ex-
pense, will be required to take whatever measures may
be required to correct the interference.

Preface

This guide provides information and. recommendations to help prepare for the
installation of the ARIX Model 800/825 system. It describes physical and functional
characteristics of the host processors and includes information on planning the
attachment of terminals, printers, modems, and other devices to be configured with
the system.
All recommendations of this site preparation guide should be followed before the
system is installed. Planning is important because, once the system is installed, it can
be very difficult to make changes or to correct problems.
This guide is to be used in conjunction with the ARIX Installation and Maintenance
Manual for the Models 800 and 825.
