BLUETOOTH CONNECTIVITY PACK DTL-1P
Bluetooth Connectivity pack DTL-1P for NPE-3 is now available. This
Connectivity pack provides a wireless data connectivity between a PC with
PCMCIA slot or adapter (CardShark) and NPE-3 phone.
As Connectivity Pack requires MCU software version 5.02 or later, customers
might need software update to their phone before they can use it. If the
Connectivity Battery LRW-1 has been inserted into NPE-3 and the icon is
shown in the upper left-hand corner of the phone's display when turning the
power on, the phone supports the bluetooth feature. If that icon does not
appear, the software update is needed. Note: This software update needs to
be done free of charge.
Note: This pack does not support audio functionality, as it is made only
for data transfer.
DTL-1P (code 0070031) Connectivity pack includes following parts:

Testing procedure

& DTL-1 LRW-1 & NPE-3
Needed test environment
- PC with PCMCIA slot or adapter (CardShark)
- WIN98 operating system
- Software that comes with Nokia Connectivity Pack
- Bluetooth phone NPE-3 with SW 5.02 or later
With Bluetooth capable NPE-3 and DTL-1 the following tests can be done:
- Find an other Bluetooth device, establish connection and browse Bluetooth
functions
- Transfer data by making data call, if GSM data service is available
- If another Bluetooth device can be found and data can be transferred
between those, the tested device can be considered OK
- Note: It is not possible to read out the passkey from LRW-1 by NPE-3 user
interface or DTL-1 card.
Notes:
1. Service Software is not available for DTL-1 or LRW-1
2. It will not be possible to perform any SW update/upgrade on DTL-1 or
LRW-1. If for any reasons, the SW needs to be changed, the units must be
swapped.

LWR-1 passkey
LRW-1 passkey is written on a label included in the sales packages as well as
to type label inside the battery pack (underneath the battery) and can be read
visible or by using a barcode reader.
Bluetooth Passkey
