Dear Valued Customer,

When you receive the E5052B with FW A.03.30 or above, see below

If you swap your Spare HDD (Hard Disk Drive) with the mounted HDD in the E5052B, you need to update
Firmware, Syscal data and Limit files.
For details, follow the procedure in E5052B HELP.

                        Prep for connecting with E5053A
Dear Valued Customer,

When you receive the E5053A with serial number MY452xxxxx, SG452xxxxx or above, or its equivalent repair, see
below.

For E5052B user
If you connect the E5053A with your E5052B, you need to update the Firmware to FW A.03.30 or above onto your
E5052B. Firmware A.03.30 or above automatically install the USB drivers for the E5053A with MY452xxxxx,
SG452xxxxx or above.
Otherwise, you see "The wizard could not find the software on your computer for..." message on "Found New
Hardware Wizard" dialog box.




For E5052A user
If you connect the E5053A with your E5052A, you need to update the USB drivers manually.
Otherwise, you see "Type the path where the file is located, and then click OK" message on "Files Needed" dialog
box.




Step 1.   Download E5053A USB Drivers (e5053.inf and e5053ld2.sys) from Keysight.com to your USB pen drive.
          http://www.keysight.com/find/e5052b-firmware
Step 2.   Disconnect the USB cable between your E5052A and the E5053A and Turn off the E5053A.
Step 3.   Insert your USB pen drive to your E5052A
Step 4.   Replace e5053.inf and Copy e5053ld2.sys to C:\Windows\PNPDRVRS\Keysight\
Step 5.   Turn on the E5053A and Connect the USB cable between your E5052A and the E5053A.
