OUTLINE

The main ROM version has been upgraded from EC-13-03 to EC-16-01.

  Local requests
  1. HOME FAX (Finland, New Zealand) function made available.
     (Special SW8 bit2=0  1)
  2. The DTMF pattern in the FINLAND and NEW ZEALAND settings has been changed.
     (Special SW15 bit5, 6=0  1)
  3. The maximum input value for T1 in T30 has been changed to 150000ms.

  Other
  1. Even if the image has a decode error, the operation ends normally. This problem has been
     corrected so that the transaction will end in error, and the designated batch transmission will be
     cancelled.
  2. If a document that generated a direct transmission error is retransmitted without being taken out
     and reset, the document is not scanned, but fed through. This problem has been corrected.
  3. When the error display is set to be displayed until the user presses the STOP button (ITALY,
     SPAIN), the fax will not go into ESS while an error is being displayed.
  4. After a document has been output from memory reception, the memory becomes full.
     This problem has been corrected.
  5. In the parallel telephone detection country setting, CI is difficult to detect. This problem has been
     corrected.
  6. In the SAF setting, Busy Tone flse detection occurs. This detection has been changed from 2 to
     5 times.
  7. When programming the user ID, when numeric key 7 is pressed special German characters will
     be displayed.

  8.  The gamma table setting has been changed in order to suppress flecks when scanning in Auto
      mode.
  9. Tx document gets smudged by the Tx result report, so the report printing default has been
      changed to ink saver mode.
  10. The recovery operation every 72 hours, did not work properly when the fax was in ES mode.
      This problem has been corrected. (As a result, the cartridge was deteriorating, causing blank
      sheet output.)
  11. When a reception ends in error, the OFF HOOK alarm will sound if the fax is off hooked.
  12. ESS can be set on or off in the user settings. (Not valid for Germany or Hong Kong.)
