Model: AVR-2310CI
Subject: Supply of Setup Tool
Symptom: Since the AVR-2310CI is not equipped with the Ethernet terminal, it
cannot be set up externally by means of a PC using the web.
Solution: We will supply the Setup Tool and the Instruction Manual to be
used for performing various setup for the subject models by means of a PC via
the RS-232C. This Software has been designed so that the AV Amplifier can
easily be set up via the PC's Display by connecting the AV Amplifier to the PC by
means of RS-232C Cable available in the market.
Note: Please pay attention upon handling since this Tool has been designed on
the assumption that an installer has special knowledge and can operate it. It is
not general user operable tool and should not be given to the end user!
1) Program File to be used to install the "AVR-2310CI/2310 Setup Tool" onto a
PC:
For Windows Vista: AVR2310_SystemSetup_0.0.14(for_Windows_Vista).exe
For Windows XP: AVR2310_SystemSetup_0.0.14(for_Windows_XP).exe
When this Program File is executed on a PC, the above "AVR-2310CI/2310
Setup Tool" can be automatically installed on the PC.

3) Update the firmware of unit on the "AVR-2310CI/2310 Setup Tool". Refer to
the Operating Manual for Setup Tool. AVR2310 setup tool(0.0.14) manual.pdf
Confirmation of the Version after updating: After completion of the updating
operation, the new version number can be confirmed by starting up the AVR-
2310CI according to the following procedure. With the following operation, the
AVR-2310CI can be set to the Flash-ROM Version-Number Confirmation Mode.
Turn the power of the AVR-2310CI on, while holding both "STATUS" button and
"DIMMER" button on the front panel simultaneously.
Every time the "STATUS" Button is pressed, version numbers of the MAIN, SUB,
etc. are indicated on the front panel section in the following order.
Serial Number Range:
The upgrade to the latest Firmware is necessary for the unit of the following
Serial number. (Last 5-digits)
