Model: AVR-5800
Subject: Countermeasure for Pop Noise on the PRE Output.
Symptom: The unit produces the Pop Noise when switching functions.
Solution: Please apply the following modification (upon claim only).
On the EXT IN VOL Unit (1U-3295):
1) Replace "2SC3326" muting transistors, TR805, 806, 809, 810,813, 814, 817
and 818 with new KTC2875 Transistors. (Eight transistors)
2) Replace 10-ohm resistors R827, 828, 843, 844, 859, 860, 875 and 876 with
new 220-ohm resistors. (Eight resistors)
