Model: AVR-1910, AVR-790
Subject: 1080p issues when a specific TV (Sharp LC-**XJ1) and an A/V
AMP are connected via HDMI.
Countermeasure is applicable only upon claim from the customer.
Symptom: When the Analog Video signal "VIDEO/S-VIDEO/Component
480i/576i" is output by 1080p, the picture of TV might not be able to be
reproduced correctly
Solution: Additional capacitors will reduce the noise from DC/DC converter
power supply.
MODIFICATION:
1) Remove the "HDMI B'D" (Refer to page 8 of Service Manual).
2) Exchange C387 to new parts.
3) Add new capacitor to C482.
4) Attach the "HDMI B'D" (Refer to page 8 of Service Manual).
