Subject:             Change in MICON


Symptom: 1) The unit regards a CD-DA Disc that has a very low reflection
ratio as a CD-RW Disc. As a result, the servo-gain increases four times, and
sometimes, the unit is incapable of playing the disc.
2) The unit is incapable of reading only the TOC on the 80th Track.


Solution: We changed the MICON (IC502) from a CXP82052-140Q Ver3.00
to CXP82052-146Q Ver2.04. Therefore, please apply the modification when the
symptoms occur.
