Model:               DN-C640

Subject:   A change in length of screw that may scratch the disc.
Countermeasure is applicable only upon claim from the customer.

Symptom: After modifying the mechanism for the screw that might scratch the
disc (bulletin PZ09-132), the screw might become loose. This is caused by the
materials of the spacer and double-stick tape may have collapsed, and a screw
might have loosened.

Solution:
COUNTERMEASURE: Please refer to the attached Instruction Manual.
1) Remove the Mechanism, Front panel and Top cover.
2) Cut the Rib of the inner panel by nipper. (Parts number: 00M43BS105023)
3) Please cut ribs of both sides of the tab. (6-place)
4) If old "SPACER" (color is BLACK) on the 4-boss, please remove 4 pcs.
5) Attach the new "SPACER" (color is CLEAR) on the 4-boss.
6) Attach the Mechanism and tighten the screws. (Fixing torque: 10.0Kgf +0/-0.5)
7) Apply a coating of a glue (1401B made by ThreeBond. or an equivalent
material) on the 4-screws.
8) Install the unit.
