Model:               DVD-5910


Subject:   Countermeasure for the malfunction upon playing back particular
DVD Video and CDDA Discs.


Symptom: 1) After selecting the Episode Index on the MENU display of the
particular DVD Video Disc "The A-Team/Universal", The display returns to MENU
immediately though the unit plays back the Episode Index momentarily.
2) The image and sound interrupt momentarily upon changing the Layer on the
particular DVD Video Disc "Star Wars Episode 2 (PAL version)".
3) When playing back the Track 12 (around 3 minutes) of the particular CDDA
Disc "RICKSPRINGFIELD/karma", the analog sounds of the subsequent Tracks
including the last Track are not outputted.


Solution: The Software has been improved so no malfunction occurs.
MODIFICATION: (Upon Claim)
1) Therefore, please record the file on a blank CD-R and upgrade the Back-end
ROM on your customer's unit upon claim.
