Subject: 1) Countermeasure for malfunctions that are related to the software
such as malfunction upon playing back CDDA after the programming.
2) Improvement in HDMI.

Symptom: 1) Malfunction upon playing back CDDA after the programming:
When Tracks #1 and #10 on a CDDA on which 10 tracks have been recorded
were programmed to be played, the unit reproduces Track #2 and subsequent
Tracks after playing back Track #1, without playing back Track #10, while
indicating Track #1 on the Display.
2) Malfunction upon playback of a particular Disc "River dance (PAL)". The
sound interruption occurs upon playback of the disc after converting PAL to
NTSC.
3) Malfunction upon playing back a particular Disc "Raging Bull". When playing
back this Disc, the video in this volume is not played back normally.
4) Improvement in the performance in HDMI connection. (Improved by Designing
Department.)
(1) The unit is incapable of operating properly after a TV/Projector that is
equipped with a particular HDMI (multiple HDMI Input signals are applicable) is
connected via the HDMI connection.
(2) The unit is incapable of operating properly after a TV/Projector that is
equipped with a particular HDMI (The device whose EDID ROM is larger than
256-byte) is connected via the HDMI connection.

Solution: 1) The items #1), 2) and 3): We have corrected the software so that
no malfunction occurs.
