Subject:     Countermeasure for the malfunctions that is related to the software
such as malfunction upon playback of particular DVD Video Discs.


Symptom: 1) The unit generates block noise during the playback of particular
DVD Video Disc "Tora-san's Shattered Japanese Romance".
2) The output sound turns into noise when playing back the particular chapter on
a particular DVD Video Disc. (The chapter 7, title 2 of Neujahrskonzert New
year's concert 2005, wiener philharmoniker lorin maazel)"
3) If the "ON" and "OFF" of the Hot Plug was performed repeatedly and
continuously after switching the function by using AVR-4806, the output signal of
the HDMI is not outputted. (The phenomenon may occur once in approximately
30 minutes.)


Solution: The software has been corrected so no malfunction occurs.
MODIFICATION: (Upon refurbishment of the unit and/or claim.) We will supply
the following program files for updating the Back-end. Therefore, please record
the file on a blank CD-R separately and individually, and update the Back-end on
the above models upon refurbishment of the unit and/or claim.

Note: By rewriting the Back-end, the version of the DRV will be changed to
"030825".
