Model: DVD-9000
Subject: Countermeasure for improving a malfunction when playing back
particular discs and sources.
Symptom: The malfunctions occur when playing back the following sources:
1) Generates a noise when it returns to the beginning of the first Track from the
last Track during the Group-repeat operation of "La Flute de Pan, Portrait of the
Flute and its Musik". (Disc #COAQ-5)
2) The highlight in "Randy Newman" is not displayed during playback of the
"MENU". (Disc #R9 78349)
3) During playback in Dolby Digital, Analog sound is not outputted after setting
the V. S. S. to ON.
4) During playback of the Zone Plate, an Image-noise appears to the peripheral
portion of the Monitor Screen.
Solution: The Software has been updated so no malfunction occurs.
Please apply the following modification to the customer's unit when it was
brought into your service bench due to any other reasons and/or upon claim.
