Subject: Countermeasure for improving the malfunction upon playing back
particular Discs.
Symptom: 1) The malfunction to generate a noise occurred when it returned to
the beginning of the first Track from the last Track during the Group-repeat
operation of "La Flute de Pan, Portrait of the Flute and its Musik". (Disc #COAQ-
5)
2) The highlight in "Randy Newman" is not displayed during playback of the
"MENU". (Disc #R9 78349)
3) During playback in Dolby Digital, the Analog sound is not outputted when the
V. S. S. was set to ON.
4) During playback of Zone Plate, an Image-noise appears to the peripheral
portion of the Monitor.
Solution: The firmware has been updated. Please record all the above
program files on one CD-R Disc together and use the disc for upgrading the ESS
MICONs.
Note: When recording the files on the CD-R Disc;
