Subject:             Change in the P. W. Board .


Symptom: The GU-3613-1 SYSTEM UNIT and GU-3614-3 AUDIO UNIT have
been changed on the referenced model in order to improve manufacturing
issues. According to this change, we will inform you of the combination of the
new P. W. Board with old P. W. Board upon using, and the service parts to be
used for the new P. W. Boards.
1) The production of the above P. W. Boards will be switched to new Boards
simultaneously. Therefore, at the field, the new P. W. Board may be mixed and
used together with the old P. W. Board upon maintenance service. In such a
case, an additional modification is necessary to use new P. W. Board with old P.
W. Board.
2) We have summarized the contents of modifications of the P. W. Boards for
each combination. Therefore, please apply the modification according to the
following pages upon combination of the old P. W. B. with new P. W. B.

MODIFICATION:
The following modification is needed under these combinations;

1) When combining the DVD player with the old GU-3613-1 SYSTEM UNIT and
the new GU-3614-3 AUDIO UNIT.
The additional modification is needed.
[Additional modification]
(1) Attach 4pcs. of 0 ohm Chip Resistors to R-255, 257, 263 and 264.
(2) Remove CX-CY601 of the 6P PH-PH CONN.CORD from CX061 completely.




2) When combining the DVD player with the old GU-3614-3 AUDIO UNIT and the
new GU-3613-1 SYSTEM UNIT.
The additional modification is needed.

(1) Attach 4pcs. of 0 ohm Chip Resistors to R-255, 257, 263 and 264.
(2) Remove CX-CY601 the 6P PH-PH CONN.CORD from CY061 completely.
