Model:               S-302


Subject:   Set Freezes, locks up, won't power ON.
Countermeasure is applicable only upon claim from the customer.


Symptom: 1) The unit intermittently locks up.
2) The power supply turns off in about 1 hour after starting use, and the unit
sometimes freezes.
3) It becomes impossible to operate after the set freezes.
4) After warm up (about an hour of playing) all the buttons on the front panel and
RC cannot be operated.

Solution: Oscillator X201 is defective or poor soldering of the microcomputer.
COUNTERMEASURE: Exchange the Oscillator X201 and/or re-solder the
microcomputer.

MODIFICATION:




2) Check the soldering of IC201 (system microcomputer).
3) If you find poor soldering on IC201, re-solder IC201.
4) If the unit has still failure, please repair the unit.
