Subject:             Improvement of the IC Protection circuit.


Symptom: The IC Protection circuit opens in normal use due to inrush-current.


Solution: Change Q702 IC Protector from ICP-N15 to ICP-N25.
Please apply the following modification to your customer's unit when it is brought
into for service for any reason and/or upon claim outlined in the Subject.

1) Please replace Q702 IC Protector (ICP-N15) with the new ICP-N25T or ICP-
N25.
2) Use a felt-tipped pen and overwrite the N15 indication printed on the Power
Supply P. W. Board. (One place.)
3) As shown in the Fig. 1, attach the N25 label on the P. W. Board. (One place.)
4) Refer to the Fig. 2, and attach the N25 Label on the N15 of the ICP-N15 that
has been printed on the ICP-Label so that the ICP-N15 is changed into ICP-N25.
