This manual contains maintenance information for the contain information required to service those units. Other
following units of the IBM Data Acquisition and Control manuals that are used in servicing the 1800 system are listed

IBM 1801 and 1802 Processor-Controllers It is assumed that the user of this manual is familiar with
IBM 1803 Core Storage Unit 1800 system programming techniques and that he under-
IBM 1826 Data Adapter Unit stands the functional and operational aspects of all system
IBM 1828 Enclosure areas. Hexadecimal numbers, if not otherwise identified,
IBM 1851 Multiplexer Terminal are preceded by a "slash" (e.g., /3000) to distinguish them
IBM 1856 Analog Output Terminal from decimal numbers.
