This reference publication describes the assembler
language and the input/output (I/O) macros
supplied by IBM for use in writing programs for 8K
disk-oriented System/360 installations. The
general features of. the assembler language are
described first, followed by a description of each
of three types of assembler language statements:
machine-instruction, assembler-instruction, and
macro-instruction statements. The description of
the macro instructions consists of a description
of each of the IBM-supplied I/O macros.
