   This publication tells how to run the IBM Systero/360
Operating System. After summarizing how the system
works, it describes- the three major system types:
systems with the primary control program (PCP); systems
that provide multiprogramming with a fixed number of
tasks   (fvlFT or Option 2); and systems that provide
multiprogramming with a variable number of tasks    ~VT
