INTRODUCTION
The Software Terms and Conditions list includes all types of programs currently marketed by NAD and NMD. Only terms and conditions currently
marketed to commercial customers are included.

ORGANIZATION
The list is presented in program number sequence. A single line entry contains all information for a machine type and features unless terms and
conditions vary for a program and its feature. Footnotes are kept to minimum and, when practical. a single footnote is used for a data field. A
hyphen indicates that a data field does not apply or no longer is available. Other special codes used will be explained in the legend.

LEGEND FOR SOFTWARE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Column Heading                          Explanation
PROGRAM NUMBER              Self explanatory.
TP                          Indicates the testing period allowed (in months) for the basic license.
WT                          Denotes whether the program is warranted or not. Y = Yes
SC                          The Service Class designation, if any, for a program.
IL                          Tells if Installation or Location License applies.
                            I     = Installation license applies
                            L     = Location license applies
PROGRAM SERVICES            Central Service (CS) information is detailed in this area:
CS Until
                            nn/nn/nn =          The date when Service will no longer be furnished by IBM.
                            Notice+nM =         Service will be available for the specified number (n) of months (M) after IBM issues written notice of
                                                discontinuance.
PROGRAM SERVICES            Local Service (LS) and Local Assistance (LA) information is detailed in this area:
LS/LA Until
                            nn/nn/nn =          The date when Local Service or Assistance will no longer be furnished without charge.
                            Notice+nM =         Local Service I Assistance will be available for the specified number (n) of months (M) after IBM
                                                issues written notice of discontinuance.
                            Ship+nM             Local Service I Assistance will be available for the specified number (n) of months (M) after
                                                shipment.
AVAIL                       Either "Now", if available, or the planned date of availability.
OPERATING                   The program's operating environment(sl. either a system or software, as applicable.
ENVIRONMENT
OTHER                       Other terms and conditions which may apply to the program, such as DSLO (D) or Volume Licensing (V).
                            An @ symbol indicates that this program was announced before July 6, 1976, and that only one license is required for
                            programs being operated on directly cable-connected multi-CPU configurations controlled by ASP or JES3 when
                            operated in ASP I JES3 mode.
