The Scan Page Priority is selected as conventional behavior after upgrading the
Firmware. The setting should be changed after restarting the system.

5 SMTP The SMTP authentication error may occur, when an E-mail is sent, without setting the
authentication authentication to SMTP authentication server.

8 Removed paper The machine has been configured to indicate an error during Fax out-put, if all the paper
size setting from cassette sizes have been set manually. Therefore the Paper Setup has been removed

error deep sleep mode while the inbound ringer is set to once.

(Only for the Error code 8990 (Document finisher communication error) may occur.

installing the DF. The bridge unit may be attached without the attachment. Under this
condition the above mentioned phenomenon may occur.
Solution

switch the Main charge adjustment at low temperature ON and OFF (Default is OFF).
Please enable the low temperature main charge adjustment, if image failure such as
grey back ground on the print-out occurs.

Item 2: The MP tray size setting has been changed (New display transition)
The display jumps to set size and media when
selecting the MP tray. (No transition to this
setting in the old condition).
Notes
1. This setting is not change the default setting of the MP tray, but to change the size and media type for the copy.
2. The setting wil return to default when the above setting is reset.
3. This setting is for the copy setting and not for the print out-put.
4. The default setting can be changed in the system menu as was the case in the old condition.
