Subject: The shape of the USB host slot has been improved
Model: FS-6025MFP/6025MFP(B)/6030MFP
Contents
The USB host slot is located at the side of the operation panel. Due to the shape of the USB host slot, certain
USB drives may not be completely inserted.
Therefore the shape of the USB host slot has been changed as follows:
1. The gap at the USB host slot has been discontinued, by changing the shape of the Cover operation low.
2. Due to the above mentioned change, the shape of the Mount USB has been changed.
3. The above mentioned parts are available as a Parts set (Parts cover OPE low set SP).
Old condition of the USB host slot New condition of the USB host slot Sample of a USB drive which may

Some USB drives may not be
inserted properly, due to the gap.
1. The Mount USB is not set as a service part. New condition of the Mount USB
2. The USB cable has been changed to improve the
procurement of the USB cable. The size of the
connector of the latest type of the USB cable is
larger. The size of the USB host slot on the Mount A
USB has been changed. Please note that the
USB cable has not been set as a service part.
A. Extended by 2mm and the USB host slot has been
moved forward (At the same level as the cover).
B. The USB host slot specifications have been A
changed as follows:
Old condition: 7.5mmX15mm B
New condition: 9mmX16mm

Notes: Item 1 is a parts set, containing the latest type of the Cover operation low and the Mount USB.

Field measure Please note that the old type of the Cover operation low is only compatible with the old type of
the Mount USB. Therefore please use the parts set (Parts cover OPE low set SP), when
replacing the Cover operation low with the latest type.

The above mentioned changes have been applied to machines produced after the above mentioned production date.
