Subject: Paper jam at the DP when scanning thick media in duplex
Model: FS-1028MFP/1128MFP, DP-110
Phenomenon The paper jam may occur when using the DP to scan thick media in duplex.
Cause This is due to insufficient paper transport force to reverse the paper.
Solution 1. The projections have been added to the paper transport ribs at the cover PF.
The cover PF is a component part of the parts cover PF assy SP and is not available is an
individual part. Therefore please order the parts cover PF assy SP, when replacing the
cover PF.
2. Due to the above mentioned changes the shape of the upper guide B 303LJ24280 has been
changed. Therefore the 11 pieces of the PET film (Sheet upper guide A/sheet upper guide B)
are no longer necessary, and have been discontinued.
