 Subject:             Paper creasing/skewed feeding from the MP Tray
 Model:               FS-2020D/3920DN/4020DN


Phenomenon           Skewed feeding and paper creasing may occur, when feeding certain types of A5 sized paper
                     from the MP Tray.
Solution             The position of the Guide turn has been changed, to balance the paper feeding from the MP
                     Tray. The Cover MPF may interfere with the Paper cassette. Therefore the shape has been
                     changed.



 Replacing the Cover MPF with the latest type
 1. Remove the Top cover.
 2. Remove the Left cover.
 3. Remove the Paper cassette.
 4. Remove the MP Tray.
 5. Replace the Cover MPF with the latest type.
 6. Remove the Sheet guide (Which has been discontinued).
 7. Loosen the 2 Screws for the Guide turn.
 8. Push the Center of the Guide turn downwards, and fasten the 2 screws.
 9. Re-assemble the Parts by implementing the above above mentioned steps in reverse order.


    Press the Guide turn downwards and fix it.                                Guide turn         Cover MPF

Field measure     To prevent skewed feeding and paper creasing when feeding from the MP Tray, please align the
                  paper against the Paper guide.
