The firmware was upgraded as follows.

1 Measures against the The toner low detection was changed according to the residual amount 575685 ENGINE
erroneous display of since "Toner low" might be displayed right after toner container was
"Toner low" message installed.
(Indication of "Toner low" message is based on the count where the toner
low is regularly detected. However, if the amount of residual toner inside
the toner container is high, the count to show this message will be
increased in order to stabilize the toner low detection.)
2 Change of the SC5100 The SC5100 error detection was changed to the same manner as for the 571973 ENGINE
error detection conventional models.
3 Change of the adjustment The waiting time before the blackness reference data reception was 571255 SCA
waiting time changed from 50msec to 150msec.
*If the mode shift is not enabled, unnecessary lamp ON/OFF will be
omitted.
The following change was implemented since the engine firmware of this version. Please explain it to your
users.
"The toner container once showed cannot be reused even if reinstalling it to the machine.
Please replace it with a new toner container."
