 Subject:             Abnormal noise at the multi purpose feeder

 Affected models: FS-C5100DN/5200DN/5300DN/5400DN


Phenomenon        Abnormal noise may arise from the gears at the multi purpose feeder.


Solution          The following changes have been made:

                  1. The material of gear joint Z13 (303K09320) has been changed.
                  2. Grease has been applied at the back of cover lift gear (303K809120) and at
                     the bearing side of the paper cassette.
