Subject: Abnormal sound from the feed clutch
Model: PF-310/430
Phenomenon Abnormal sound may occur, when feeding the paper from the optional paper cassette after
replacing the feed clutch.
Cause There is a gap between the feed clutch and the fitting position. Under this condition, the side
of the gear section at the feed clutch may contact the gear at the right side. (GER-0.8-25-OW)
Solution The spacer (Poly slider: Thickness is 0.5mm) has been added between the Bushing
(Bush 6P) at the feed clutch, and the stop ring (Clip) to fill the gap between the feed clutch
and the fitting position.

Field measure When the above mentioned phenomenon occurs or when replacing the feed clutch, please add
the Spacer (Poly slider) between the feed clutch and the fitting position.
