Fireball Plus AS Drive
Offers Many Pluses
Now available to the distribution channel, the Quantum
Fireball Plus AS drive is the industry's first 20 GB per platter,
7,200-RPM desktop drive. With a new firmware caching scheme,
a 2 MB buffer, and an 8.5 ms average seek time, the Fireball Plus
AS drive is expected to demonstrate an approximate 15 percent
WinBench performance improvement over its predecessor.
