These adjustments must be performed when particular components, as CRT, yoke, etc., have been replaced.




MAGNET ADJUSTMENT
Signal: video composite 15KHz connected to VIDEO 1.
         UPC ON (projector working at 32 KHz).

CENTERING MAGNETS ADJUSTMENT


?     Adjust CONV/CENT H V to 50

?     Rotating the centering magnets align the raster in the center of the tube screen.




2/4 POLE ADJUSTMENT


1.   Select the HATCH COARSE test pattern, using the TEST button on the full function remote control.
2.   Adjust the focus potentiometer of the corresponding CRT completely in anti-clockwise.
3.   Adjust the 2 pole magnet till the flare is equal on both sides of the vertical and horizontal lines (see following figure).

4.   Select the DOTS test pattern, using the TEST button on the full function remote control.
5.   Adjust the focus potentiometer of the replaced CRT slightly clockwise.
6.   Adjust the 4-pole magnet till the dots have the best circular shape in the center of the screen (see following figure).

Note. Repeat the 2-pole and 4-pole magnets alignments if necessary, because they influence each other.


7.   Select the HATCH COARSE test pattern, using the TEST button on the full function remote control.
8.   Adjust the focus till the flare disappear from the lines.

SERVICE MODE


Conditions:
Signal generator: - 15 KHz, grey scale.
Plug a jumper into JP1 position of the JP101 connector placed on the PC157 microboard.
Switch-on the projector by the mains switch, on the screen will appear flashing:

In this condition brightness and contras will be automatically fixed at 50.
Connect an oscilloscope probe 100:1 to R481 (cathode) of the PC152 CRT board of the red tube.
Adjust the red G2 potentiometer to have 140 V of the cut-off level.
Repeat the same operations for the green and blue tubes.
