under the door

Background: Some instances of an LE error code or water leak from under the door are caused
by installation errors. Check the installation of the 90 degree elbow on the water valve. Make sure
that white Teflon tape has been used and that the elbow is tightened correctly. Also ensure that the
water supply line is properly tightened. In addition, check the condition of the drain hose in the
back of the dishwasher.

Solution: If there is no Teflon tape on the elbow where it connects to the valve, install Teflon tape.
Tighten the elbow fitting taking care not to over tighten. The elbow fitting should be in the 4 o'clock
position to make it easier to connect the water supply line. For the drain hose, make sure the
clamp is in the correct position so that the drain hose is tightly connected to the dishwasher. If the
drain hose is damaged, order and replace the drain hose with the part listed below.
