                                               This document provides a general description for the T290i and T290c Sony
                                               Ericsson mobile phone.

                                               The T290i/T290c mobile phone is in the Sony Ericsson AAA-1001013-BV and
                                               AAA-10001013-CN family, respectively. It is a class 41 handheld dual band
                                               (EGSM 900 and DCS1800) cellular phone, designed to be compatible with all
                                               mandatory GSM phase 2 recommendations. Handover is supported between
                                               the EGSM 900 and DCS 1800 bands.

                                               A connector at the bottom of the phone makes it possible to connect various
                                               accessories like chargers and hands-free units. The supported accessories
                                               are listed in appendix A.
