Subject: No Tape Play In Reverse.                                            Date: April 4, 1996


Symptom:
  (62)         Shortly after reversing the tape, the mechanism returns to forward play. This
               problem may be caused by both pinch lever assemblies simultaneously engaging the
               tape and both capstans.



Solution:      Replace the forward and reverse pinch lever assemblies as shown below:
