Subject: Removal and re-assembly of Speaker Grille                         Date: December 27, 1994


Symptom:
  (**)          Due to a temporary production change, the SS-U241 speakers manufactured in
                October and November of 1994 had the speaker grilles secured at the bottom two
                holes using Hot Melt glue. The applicable Serial Number range for this procedure is
                8044738 ~ 8058376.



Solution:       To service this speaker, pry the grille off as instructed in the Service Manual (see
                below). When the repair has been completed, re-attach the grill using a water based
                white glue to secure the bottom two holes.
