Problem / Issue              After switch on, unit shut s down with power LED flashing 7 times

Solution:                    See notes below



See page 3 for the Technical information sheet describing the cause for the B and BA variant models.

Check the SC board transistors (Q6641-6) for any failed or leaky FETs

Order Kit: TZS9EK082 which contains 10 new FETs (B1DFKM000002)

Replace the faulty transistors and update the firmware as per attached information below

Also check the condition of the soldering on the following FETs after fitting the service kit

Q6695, Q6696, Q6648, Q6649, Q6651, Q6652, Q6653, Q6654

In some cases, it has been found that some of the above FETs had no solder on their drain and source
connections whilst others may have very poor joints.

Notes on Software Updating

The attached TI sheet (page 3) covers software updating for the B version sets only.

For B versions sets, carry out the firmware update if the item > PDP-FPGA (seen on service mode opening
screen) shows less than 47.09

After software update the PDP-FPGA should be 47.09 > see picture of service mode on page 2

For BA version sets

The software update should be done using the software file: 42FM10_v4782t1_sddl_CS3.zip

Usage instructions for this software are shown on page 2:

After update, parameter PDP-FPGA will update to v 47.82
