Subject:              Convergence Errors

Background:           Some problems have been encountered when attempting to converge units in customers
                      homes where the ambient temperature is low. (See picture below).

Remedy:               Circuit modification.

Application:          All serial numbers prior to P1-165 - - - -

Method:               Using the components in kit no.TZS9EK020 carry out instructions listed below.
                      1. Change value of R1110 from 2.7K Ohms to 1.5K Ohms.
                      2. Change value of R1107 from 2.7K Ohms to 1.5K Ohms.
                      3. Add 68pf capacitor between pins 4 & 8 of A4 connector.
                      4. Enter service mode and adjust the convergence.

Service Mode                      Press Service button and number 0 button together.
(Using Service Remote)

Service Mode
(Using Standard Remote)           1. Adjust Bass to Maximum.
                                  2. Adjust Treble to Minimum.
                                  3. Press down button on TV set (-V) and at the same time press the "Index" button on
                                     the remote control.
