         Tools

         The Program Librarian and Development Environment are on
         schedule. They will be turned over to SO E1 Segundo for
         limited testing 'the first week in August. The performance
         monitor issue {microcode} still has not been resolved.

         Mesa

         The Mesa 3.0 Development Work Plan was approved and released
         June. 30. The Mesa 3.0 ReTeaSe-oefinition was released July
         11 and approved July 20. Mesa 3.0 (the new binder, etc.) is
         scheduled to be available for alpha testing on Au~ust 15.
