                                                                       NOTE: Do not remove the snap ring unless it's nec-

 2.      Install the ATF guide plate.

 3.     Drive the new bearing into the housing using the
        special tools as shown.

                                        ATTACHMENT.               2.    Expand the snap ring with the snap ring pliers,
                                        62 x 68 mm                     insert the new bearing part-way into it, then release
                                        07746-0010500
                                                                       the pliers. Push the bearing down into the transmis-
                                                                       sion until the ring snaps in place around it.

                                                                       NOTE: Install with groove side of the bearing facing
                                                                       inside the transmission housing.
